pH meter calibration:1. Immerse the pH electrode in a mixed phosphate standard buffer solution with a pH of 6.86 (at 25ÂC) and shake it gently.2. Use a small screwdriver to adjust the calibration potentiometer until the displayed value is consistent with the pH value of the standard buffer solution at ambient temperature.3. Insert the electrode into the standard buffer solution of pH4.00 potassium hydrogen phosphate benzene dicarboxylate or pH 9.18 borax.4. After about two minutes. The displayed value should be within the error tolerance range compared with the pH value of the buffer solution.
Steps: 1. Remove the protective cover.2. Clean the electrode of the pH meter with distilled water first. And wipe the electrode dry with filter paper.3. Turn on the switch located on the battery compartment.4. Insert the pH meter into the liquid to be measured until the liquid is immersed in the immersion line. If conditions permit, the solution can be immersed slightly above the immersion line.5. Gently stir the solution and wait for about two minutes. Read the displayed value.6. Finished use. Clean the electrode. Turn off the switch. Put on a protective cover.7. pH meter calibrator: the pH standard solid substance. It can be used after opening the package and adding water. It is suitable for the calibration of any type of acidity meter. The two specifications are pH=4.00; 6.86 and the validity period is five years.
Note: In the following cases, the PH meter must be recalibrated:
It has been used (or placed) for a long time after calibration;
Electrodes are used very frequently;
The measurement accuracy requirements are relatively high.
